Boy Am I Tired

I started forming my arms and legs today, but they are still too small for you to really tell they are there. I also started making a placenta. Its what lets me get nourishment from my mommy while I'm still growing and living inside her, and believe me, I need it!

Mommy could find out I was here if she suspected, but right now she still thinks that she's going to start her period any day. :) I love it!

I'm getting bigger too! I'm about 1/16 of an inch, which is still pretty small, but its pretty amazing when you think how much I've done in two short weeks. Isn't this fun?

Oh My What a Week!

My Goodness! It's hard to believe that it has already been a week! Can you believe it?

So far Mommy is still oblivious to me. She is having some very mild symptoms, but she thinks its because she's getting ready to start her period next week. (Periods are what happens to mommys who don't have a little me growing inside them...ha, ha, ha.)

This is an important week for me. You will not believe everything I have to do in just this week. It makes me tired just thinking about it. Mommy's tired too, but she doesn't know its because of me, she thinks its stress - silly Mommy!

Okay, I'll tell you my agenda, since you asked so nice, but I have to use big funny words again.

Remember when I told you I was all round? Well I have to work on not being round any more. Here's the big words...right now I have three layers - the ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm. Funny huh? Anyway, these things are going to make all my organs and tissues.

The ectoderm, well that is going to become my nervous system (including my smart little brain), skin, hair, nails, mammary and sweat glands and the enamel for my teeth.

The mesoderm will become my heart and circulatory system, my bones and muscles and all that stuff that connects it together. It also is my blood system and will create my "urogenital system". (That's what helps me pee and tells me if I'm a boy or a girl.)

The endoderm is the last one and its will house my lungs and it will also developing into the lining of my gastrointestinal tract (eat and poop - remember?), my liver, pancreas, and thyroid.

See, I told you I was busy. :)

Wheeew! What a Journey!

Oh, my goodness! I've been on a little bit of a roller coaster the last couple of days, but I'm finally safe and secure. I'm finished traveling for now, but I still have sooo much to do! :)

I've already started collecting amniotic fluid around me. I know its a funny word, but it will cushion and protect me while I keep changing. :) And, oh boy! I'm already changing! I've already started on my brain, spinal cord, heart and my stomach, including all that extra stuff I need to eat my food and leave surprises in my diaper for Mommy! LOL

By the way, she still doesn't even know I'm here! Thanks for keeping my secret. :)

Success!!

Mommy and Daddy were not careful - haha! ...and HERE I AM!! I'm so excited! They don't even know about me yet, so ssshhh, don't tell them. :) It's our little secret for now.

Besides, I still have a little traveling to do before I'm safely where I need to be. Not only am I on the move, but I'm very busy. I'm growing very fast and working hard. I already know if I'm a boy or a girl, but you have to wait a little longer before you find out...I can't spoil all the surprises at once...hee, hee. I also know what color of eyes and hair I will have, but that's going to be a surprise too!

Right now I'm very, very small. I'm only about the size of the head of a pin, about 0.019 inches wide and I'm still all round, but you could see me with your eye if I wasn't safe inside my mommy right now.

I have so much to do!! I better go.
